Christmas in July anyone? Here's a fun Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer Brooch.

I love vintage Christmas jewelry and while it's not unusual to see reindeer brooches, necklaces, or earrings- this brooch of Rudolph is a first for me. The other unusual feature about this pretty piece is that it looks like Rudolph has a rhinestone collar, but it's not. His collar is actually dabs of enamel set in the holes to look like rhinestones. All in all- a very cute piece of vintage Christmas jewelry.

Tiny Victorian Moonglow Heart Brooch

Here's a lovely Victorian piece. A tiny heart brooch surrounded with rhinestones. It has such a magical glow and is quite the treasure! The back helps to date the piece although no one can ever be certain. The early hinge and pin extending past the brooch dates the brooch to the middle 1800's. I took pictures of it in the palm of my hand to show how tiny the brooch really is.

Signed Weiss Rhinestone American Flag Brooch

Of all the vintage rhinestone flag brooches available- I like the signed Weiss version the best with the red rectangular rhinestones. Many of the unsigned version have all round rhinestones. The look of the Weiss seems a bit more dramatic and definitely a higher quality. Fireworks anyone?

Ruby Red Beaded Made in Japan Clip On Earrings

Gun Metal Vintage Rhinestone Maltese Cross Brooch

This is definitely another favorite from my personal collection. This Maltese cross is the color of gun meta and just covered with rhinestones. I bought in one of the famous Cape Cod thrift stores while enjoying Christmas vacation 2006.

Huge Unsigned Red Rhinestone Brooch

The first picture on my new website- is from my own personal collection. This beautiful unsigned red rhinestone brooch was my grandmothers. It's stunning in person and I love how some of the stones have been tinted aurora borealis style.
