Vintage 1970's Third Century Lantern Pendant

I listed this on eBay as a Gothic Halloween Lantern- but actually this super cool pendant came with a certificate of authenticity that stated it was the Third Century Lantern Pendant and is an accurate and authentic, miniature re-creation of the Third Lantern, dedicated by President Gerald R. Ford at the Old North Church in Boston, Massachusetts on April 18, 1975.

Yeah whatever... the buyer agreed that it was the sweetest little gothic Halloween lantern pendant ever!

Goldette Slide Charm Bracelet

I really love vintage Goldette jewelry. I can generally spot Goldette a mile away- whether it is signed or not. This piece is not signed, but it has the definitive Goldette charms that were so popular then as well as now. For the record I have a favorite charm- that's the snake with the egg in it's nest. Unfortunately- this slide bracelet doesn't feature that charm... I'll have to point it out the next time I see it.

Crown Trifari Milk Glass Leaf Brooch

The navettes and the round at the bottom are white glass on this signed Crown Trifari brooch. The white glass is now popularly referred to as milk glass.

Vintage Mod Candy Striped Lucite Ring

These lucite rings look great on- but too be honest I can never get used to the bulk between my fingers.

Vintage Jewelry Links For My Top Droppers

While dropping for my other blog One of a Kind Wisconsin I realized that I had not been very current about giving links out to my top droppers from Entrecard over there and I have never linked to my top droppers on my other blogs- of which this is one...

so without further ado, the top droppers for the last 30 days on

Antique Hand Painted Blue Floral Brooch

This is a very sweet antique hand painted floral brooch, that features an early c clasp in the back and as of this posting it is still available!

A Couple of Monet Charms

Monet makes some great looking charms and who can resist charm bracelets and charms.

Here are two cute charms for your viewing pleasure...

The first is a typewriter charm with rhinestones, perfect for the writer or blogger.

This one is a park bench with two little hearts sitting together. Notice that this charm still has the original hang tag.

Vintage Kramer Rhinestone Flower Choker

Maybe Autumn isn't your thing and you can't wait for Spring... if so you would probably love this signed Kramer choker. It really is quite pretty and a bit different then the dramatic Kramer pieces I am used to selling. It features pastel multicolored rhinestones that make up several Spring time flowers. This choker style necklace is really sweet and looks great with summery dresses.

Here's a close up.

Old Vintage Carnelian Dress Clip

I love dress clips and this is one of the prettiest dress clips I have ever sold. I believe the red stones are carnelian, but I am not sure. The color of the center cabochon and the carved seashells is just beautiful!

Victorian Era Mother of Pearl Pocket Knife Pin

This tiny piece of jewelry is from the Victorian or Edwardian eras and depicts a pocket knife. I hope you can see tell how tiny is is by the size in relation to my thumb. The pin is mother of pearl on brass- unfortunately the pocket knife does not open up.

Vintage Vargas Cuff Bracelet

This is a signed Vargas cuff bracelet. I don't typically come across Vargas pieces very often- they tend to be on the rarer side and collectors snap them up quickly because of their good looks.

I don't think much is known about the Vargas Manufacturing Co. Depending on what resource you use, different jewelry experts say Vargas starting making high quality costume jewelry in 1945 and ended making jewelry anywhere from the mid- eighties to 1996. I have also seen this bracelet dated online from anywhere from the 1940's to 1960's.

Beau Sterling Sweet 16 Pendant

I've preferred sterling silver over gold, since well... since I was sweet 16. Here's an adorable vintage sterling silver Sweet 16 pendant made by Beau Sterling.

Vintage Wooden & Early Plastic Pendant with Sterling Chain

This pretty pendant is an early plastic depiction of a basket of flowers set on top of a wooden pendant. A bale was screwed in on top and the pendant is on an older sterling chain. The estate sale tag dates it to 1910 - but who can be for sure.
