Sterling Cameo Ring with Peasant Girl
One of my biggest rules in selling vintage jewelry on eBay is
"Don't fall in love with the inventory!"
However, some pieces make that rule hard to live by- for example this beautiful sterling ring with a red cameo inset. The peasant girl in the cameo is just beautiful and unique- I was really hard pressed to sell this ring, but at least I still have pictures.

Did someone purchase the ring, and do you know what the stone is?
I don't know what the stone is - I think either something like cinnabar or carnelian...
The ring had a lot people watching it- but in the end it sold for the opening bid of $9.99 - last week.
Most of what is on this blog has been in auction on eBay or I am about to auction it.
