Vintage Black Glass Cameo with Tassel
This is one of the prettiest glass cameo brooches I have ever seen. The glass cameo is an intaglio style cameo and edged in faux pearls. It's very unusual too because it features black rhinestones around the edges and frankly I rarely see black rhinestones.

I am curious, do you know, or how do you tell, if a glass cameo is an Intaglio cameo. I have a glass cameo that I have had for a number of years, and have been wondering about it all the time. This one is quite lovely, and in excellent shape. Do you know how old it is?
Hi Melissa- after you commented I realized my error o this post. Some of the items I post on here - like this cameo have already been sold so I am going by the picture and memory. I erroneously wrote that this piece is reversed carved, it is actually an intaglio.
I am going to post on the differences in cameos.
