Vintage Delftware "Wooden" Dutch Shoe Earrings

These cute earrings are wooden shoes featuring windmills. Ok so they aren't exactly Dutch wooden shoes, they are porcelain and the design work that's delftware. Delftware is blue and white pottery made in and around Delft, Netherlands.

In fact it's only delftware when it's signed in the right way.

There's a lot of fake for tourists.

But they're cute.

That's good to know I am not up to snuff on my pottery or glassware. I decided long ago that I wanted to keep it to a minimum selling glass and pottery because of the shipping and packing... I have butter fingers. I have only sold a few delftware jewelry pieces so far the last on was from the 19th century based on the clasp and hardware... I wonder if they made a lot of fakes then?
